Coda Music (maker of Finale, Finale Allegro and PrintMusic) will let you download a copy of Finale NotePad ($19.95 value) for FREE. This is a good entry-level notation program. It will allow you to input notes with your mouse, transpose, put in one line of lyrics, and more. If you're looking to do some music notation, download Finale Notepad from this link:
